CAREY ENTERS DRESSED UP. SHE IS ABOUT TO LEAVE FOR A DATE AT A FANCY RESTAURANT. SHE RUNS INTO MOSEBY, WHO IS ALSO ON HIS WAY OUT TO MEET A DATE AT A FANCY RESTAURANT.

CAREY
You look nice. Meeting someone special?

MOSEBY
As a matter of fact, yes. I’m going on a blind date.

CAREY
Hey, me too. Where are you taking yours?

MOSEBY
We’re going out to eat at the new Italian restaurant downtown.

CAREY
Mr. Meatballs?

MOSEBY
Why, yes. You’ve heard of it?

CAREY
Sort of. That’s where I’m meeting my date.

MOSEBY AND CAREY PAUSE TO MARVEL AT THIS COINCIDENCE. THEN…

MOSEBY
(SKEPTICALLY) "Legs for miles"?

CAREY
(SKEPTICALLY) "Dark and dangerous"?

THEY PAUSE AWKWARDLY, THEN…

TOGETHER
Ewww.

CAREY
You know, I’m not that hungry.

MOSEBY
And I have so much work to catch up on.

CAREY
Alright then.

MOSEBY
Night.

THEY START TO EXIT BUT CRASH INTO EACH OTHER. THEY JUMP BACK AWKWARDLY AND THEN EXIT QUICKLY TO OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE STAGE.
